About the Journal

Its focus and scope include theoretical and/or practical entities in: travel, transportation, recreation, hospitality, events, entertainment, tourist attractions, and tourism business management. This interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary journal is intended to develop a shared understanding of the production, promotion, marketing, distribution, and consumption of tourism products to implement the realization of transformation towards a better quality of life.

International Journal of Travel, Hospitality and Events (IJOTHE) has obtained a Class 5 Accredited Scientific Journal based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 177/E/KPT/2024, dated October 15, 2024. The accreditation decision is valid for 5 (five) years, starting from Volume 1, Number 1, 2022 to Volume 5, Number 2, 2026.

Published by Sahid Polytechnic in January, May, and September, International Journal of Travel, Hospitality and Events (IJOTHE) is a double-blind peer-reviewed electronic journal. Academics, researchers, students, tourism industry practitioners, tourism stakeholders, and others are invited to submit their articles that are relevant to the mission of this journal.
