Its focus and scope cover theoretical and/or practical entities in: travel, transportation, recreation, hospitality, event, amusement, tourist attraction, and tourism business management. This inter-, multi-, and transdisciplinary journal is intended to develop mutual understanding on production, promotion, marketing, distribution, and consumption of tourism products to carry out the embodiment of transformation into a better quality of life.
Published by Politeknik Sahid in April, August, and December, International Journal of Travel, Hospitality and Events is a double-blind peer-reviewed electronic journal. Academicians, researchers, students, tourism industry practitioners, tourism stakeholders, and others are invited to submit their articles which are relevant to the mission of this journal.

Jurnal Sains Terapan Pariwisata is the most comprehensive national journal for all those concerned with the inovation and development of tourism aspect, such as tourism destination, hospitality and gastronomy. It contains both theoretical and applied research papers, and encourages the research based on a variety of methods, including qualitative, quantitative and mix-method approaches.
Since the tourism studies is composed of many disciplines (multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and trandiciplinary) and become one of the world's largest and fastest growing international sectors, therefore the scope of the journal is national, international and encompasses research into tourism aspects as well as the development of new research approaches. It continues to include high quality research papers in any area of tourism, including reviews of literature in the field and empirical papers on tourism issues.
